Sound Will Be the Medicine of the Future

What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is an effective and proven modality that uses vibrational sound to help reduce stress, alter consciousness, and create a deep sense of peace, well-being, and better health.  

When we experience strong emotions such as sadness, anger, hate, or grief for long periods, our body gets stressed, our mind becomes very active with negative chatter, and we experience a disconnection from our soul. If that is not addressed, eventually disease strikes.

Deep relaxation, through soothing, resonant sound affects the body on a cellular level, opening up the flow of energy to move us back toward vibrational alignment with health. A sound bath is a type of sound therapy using high-frequency instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, and even voice to provide deep relaxation, improved physical and mental health, and even long-term healing. The term "bath" refers to the sensation many people experience in sound baths—submerged in sound as vibrations wash over you. ​

What To Expect During Your Session

When you arrive, you will be greeted by the sweet smell of frankincense, which promotes positivity and well-being. Enjoy a soothing cup of herbal tea for the first 10 minutes while we discuss your specific needs. You will then be guided into the Yoni Room where you will relax on a yoga mat and pillows. * Please wear comfortable clothes. We will begin with a guided womb visualization. During your sound healing, Javon will use clear quartz crystal singing bowls, crystals, and essential oils; all customized to fit your specific needs. This part of your session will last approximately 35 minutes. This includes time to "wake up" and come back to your awareness. You will finish your healing experience with 15 minutes of solitude in the meditation corner. 

After Your Sound Healing 

  • Plan to be in a relaxed, quiet environment after your session

  • Drink plenty of water to eliminate any toxins that may have been released

  • Avoid technology, and any caffeine, alcohol, or other stimulating foods or beverages

  • Please note that the healing may continue over the next few days after the session

  • Be gentle with yourself
